Casey Hall is our Executive Marketing Assistant here at Marketing Choices. Through her unique talents and recent introduction to the marketing world, she is making an outstanding impact at Marketing Choices. Part of getting to know people is having conversations. We asked Casey some questions about her life and her journey in marketing and are excited for you to get to know her! 

Q&A With Casey Hall

What is something, or a few things, that you enjoy most in your life?

Outside of my job as an Executive Marketing Assistant, I enjoy spending time with my family – My husband (Dallas) and I have been married for 3.5 years. I am a mom to my 11-month-old son named Jett, and a dog mom to my 5-year-old black lab named Blue. I love sports and the outdoors! A typical weekend for me is usually spent outside at a park or playing soccer in our local adult league on Sundays after church. 

Would you share about what drove you to become a Marketing Executive Assistant and how long you have held this position? 

My career in marketing got started when I found out that I was pregnant in September of 2022. I was a teacher at the time, and quit my teaching job to find something that would allow me the flexibility to stay home with my son. I have worked in marketing for almost two years now.

Is there anything that particularly motivates you in your career role as Executive Marketing Assistant? 

A big motivator for me is that I get to help the team that I am on. I love that part of my role is to take some of the load off of our team members so that they can do what they do best: create, write, and design. I really enjoy being a part of a team and helping people, so knowing that what I do alleviates some of the day-to-day tasks of my team is very rewarding for me.

Day in the Life of a Marketing Executive Assistant

Every career will have vastly different work days. The same goes for Casey Hall’s role with Marketing Choices. Casey described an adaptable schedule when asked what a typical day looks like for her in her position. She said, “A typical day for me is spent working for a few hours in the morning and a few hours in the afternoon. I love how flexible my schedule is!” This schedule has allowed her to provide the hard work she drives towards while spending quality time with her family. 

Marketing often goes beyond what people see in an advertisement. Behind every outstanding marketing campaign is a strong stream of support and work. Casey’s role as Marketing Executive Assistant entails these things. She works to bring on new talented interns to our editorial team. With her talents, she delivers vital support to our marketing team, allowing them to use their own skills to innovate a marketing strategy for our clients. Casey strives to sustain and motivate every other team member to keep doing what they do in her position. She is passionate about the teamwork environment she contributes to and loves this quality in her role. 

A Unique and Impassioned Career Journey

Life can take careers and journeys in various places. Though navigating new fields and areas can be worrisome, it can lead people in the right direction. Casey Hall experienced just that when she exited the field of education and entered the marketing world in 2022. This position enabled her to spend time with her son and establish a new career in marketing. Her career shift from teaching has provided her with skills she brings to Marketing Choices. She shared, “I found that there were a lot of skills that I had gained from my teaching career that transferred well into my current role at Marketing Choices.” 

As someone looking for marketing assistance, you may be comforted knowing that your marketing team is passionate about your project. For Casey, dedication and love for her work are relevant to her position. She shared her favorite part of her position in marketing with Marketing Choices, saying, “I really love the work that we do for adoption agencies. It is a very brave and selfless decision to choose adoption for your child, so it makes me proud to be a part of a company that provides support for these companies and for birth mothers.”
