Wendy Swisher is a recent graduate of Southern New Hampshire University and is currently attending to receive a master’s degree in English and Creative Writing. Her goals are to become a novelist in the fiction genre, and she would also like to pursue a career as either a content writer or publishing editor. Currently, she is interning at Marketing Choices as an editorial content writer.
Her love of writing started because Wendy has always been an avid reader. As a young child, she would read anything she could get her hands on. She was fascinated by how authors could take an individual on adventures and emotional journeys. This inspired her to
write her first story. From there, her love of writing grew. To this day, she is still an avid reader and enjoys finding new authors or books to read. She finds inspiration not only from her reading but also from her life experiences.
She had to put these dreams aside and concentrate on her family for a while. Now Wendy is able to pursue the career she has always wanted. Some of her favorite authors are Jane Austen, R.L. Stine, Danielle Steel, and Stephen King. Not only does she love reading but also listening to music, watching movies, and spending time with family or friends. She is also the mother of three grown children, who are her biggest supporters.
