Abby is a college senior at Wichita State University with a Creative Writing Major, and Communications/English Literature Minors. Her current manuscript, Sonder & Reverie, is in its final stages and her ambition is to get it published. She wants to broaden her knowledge involving communications, marketing and enhancing her personal brand for when she enters the publishing industry! Abby loves reading fantasy, sci-fi and contemporary genres. She recently took part in a publishing internship with Dzanc Books, which advances great writing and impacts communities nationally. Their efforts to promote literary readership and advocacy in creating writing workshops and readings offered across the country are inspiring to her. She has been published in various literary magazines and projects: 2020 Blue Springs South Mirrors of the Soul (Illusions of Reality); Blue Springs South 2021 Mirrors of the Soul (Ardent Flames, Framed Prospect, Shatter the Stars); twice in Wichita State’s Literary Magazine Mikrokomos (2023 Ardent Flames & 2024 Smell the Roses); and 2023 Poetry Potluck (Anything but Mariposa). Abby is also a freelance typist and editor, with a deep passion for writing and creation.
