Melissa Baggett is an aspiring educator and author based in West Texas. She is a graduate student from Arizona State University, earning her Master of Arts in English in December 2023. This Spring, she continues her studies at ASU with the Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (MTESOL) program. With a career background in higher education at the community college level, Melissa is passionate about leadership and knowledge, advocating for all students to go to college and earn an education. She also teaches students the power of literacy to inspire change in themselves and their communities. In her free time, Melissa loves to travel to new places, cook, visit museums, and attend concerts. She is excited to work with the Marketing Choices intern team and get publishing experience.
