Vanessa’s love for writing was sparked during a tenth-grade English lecture on Shakespeare. Intrigued by the romanticism that surrounded each of his poems, she began to love English and British Literature. Since then, her passion for writing continued to grow, leading her to major in English with an emphasis in Rhetoric and Composition, along with a Professional Writing certificate. When she’s not reading or writing, she’s usually hiking with her three dogs (Kodak, Zues, and 8ball), hanging out with friends and family, or cooking up a Latin dish!
